Create colorful jewelry combining handmade glass beads and felted wool. This will be a fun & colorful workshop for experienced* glass bead makers eager to try a new combination of mediums!
Day One:
We will meet in Jennifer’s personal glass studio on the lower level of Sanctuary Arts. Students will learn how to create a variety of hollow and large holed beads and glass headpins.
Day Two:
Students will then explore a variety of wet and needle felting techniques to turn soft short fiber merino wool fleece and into a variety of forms (cords, sheet felt and beads) to create a necklace, bracelet or brooch around their beads.

PLEASE NOTE: *This is for students who have some experience making glass beads.
Contact Jennifer at if you have no glass bead making experience to sign up for a beginner class. No experience necessary with wet felting but it doesn’t hurt.
